Everydays Project #308-314

#308: LowPoly PeaFowl

While out on a delivery in Longmont, Colorado I drove past a muster of peafowl. They were in the front yard of a farmhouse just outside of town but not fenced in and just roaming around. There was even one white peafowl. Turns out this peafowl probably has leucism (often confused for albinism).

#309: Simple

Basically a practice in trying to make something visually pleasing as fast as possible. I was very busy leading up to a camping trip so I only had about 30 minutes to make this one. A glass sphere floating above multiple planes with “noise” and turbosmooth modifiers. Environment uses a “sky” map and I also have a fog material applied to the atmosphere. The fog only works with Arnold CPU so that’s what I used.

#310: Simple 2

I was leaving for a camping trip this day so I woke up really early to quickly make this before we left. Just a version of the previous days’ creation, except using a glass cube instead of a sphere and the planes don’t have any turbosmooth modifiers.

#311: Rock 1

Was on a camping trip with no computer so I broke out the sketchbook and some graphite and charcoal and sketched one of the larger boulders next to our campsite. Just a friendly reminder that I need to work on my sketching skills haha!

#312: Lure 1

Still camping, and it had rained a ton so while I was drying off in the tent, I sketched this Kastmaster fishing lure that had given me some luck the day before.

#313: Space Frame Trusses

Used a cube and a sphere each with shell and lattice modifiers. Copper materials on both. Just trying to make something cool.

#314: Genus 3 Surface

In mathematics, if you glue 3 tori together, the result is a genus 3 surface or triple torus.
